The exhaust hood of stainless steel ducts is used to capture harmful substances. Its function directly affects the economic indicators of some exhaust systems. Some exhaust hoods have better functions, such as enclosed exhaust hoods, which can obtain smaller air volume. Due to differences in production equipment and working methods, there are also many ways to use exhaust hoods.
The corrosion of stainless steel ducts is generally caused by the following main reasons:
1. The cutting or manufacturing methods for the plates used in stainless steel air ducts are not good.
During the entire production and manufacturing process, stainless steel ducts were corroded, but it was not immediately resolved.
3. Improper selection of welding process for stainless steel ducts, i.e. poor welding process.
After welding the stainless steel conduit, it should be resolved afterwards without the need for immediate cleaning and dismantling.
The application of stainless steel ducts can promote good natural ventilation, enhance indoor ventilation, control cyclone speed, and reduce suffocation. What is natural ventilation? It means that the polluted gases inside the room or enclosed room are discharged, and all harmful substances generated in the treatment plant are cleaned and discharged to the outside. Then, fresh air is sent to dilute the harmful substances in the gas, taking into account everyone's gas requirements.
In places with high noise control regulations, low-noise stainless steel air duct mechanical equipment should be used. Moderately reduce the speed ratio of ventilation and cooling equipment. The rotational noise of ventilation and cooling equipment is directly proportional to the circumferential velocity of a centrifugal impeller of 10 cubic meters, while the vortex noise is directly proportional to the circumferential velocity of a centrifugal impeller of 6 cubic meters (or 5 cubic meters). So reducing the speed ratio can lower the noise.
Due to the fact that stainless steel ducts are made of galvanized steel plates or metal materials, the thickness and construction process of stainless steel should be strictly selected according to the engineering construction acceptance standards, such as manufacturing errors, verticality, structural reinforcement of stainless steel ducts, selection of seismic supports, and manufacturing equipment. When it comes to the construction phase, ventilation openings should not be located near mechanical equipment as much as possible. The front, rear, left, and right of the cooling fan should be at least 5 meters long as possible. If the number of bends can be increased, the noise can be reduced, and a filter screen can be installed at the air outlet, so the actual effect of noise control is also very good. The solution to the noise of centrifugal fans is usually to install mufflers to address the sound of the stroke in stainless steel ducts.
